I am a second-year undergraduate student at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Glasgow with scholarship of Azerbaijan's State Programme . Previously, I was an undergraduate mathematics student of ADA university. After I finish my undergraduate studies, I am planning to continue my studies with Master's and Ph.D. and follow an academic career (hopefully?).
My current interests are numerical methods, differential equations, game theory, stochastic process, computational statistics, and theoretical machine learning. To be specific, I like to play around mathematical and statistical models, computational problems, and write algorithms to solve them. My preferred main language is C++. You may visit this link and see my self-made transcript and what content I am studying currently.
I am from Azerbaijan and lived in Baku before I came to Glasgow. Actually, my family originates from azerbaijani minority in southern Georgia (the country). I barely know georgian, but I am proficient in Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and I have some knowledge in French and Russian languages.
I like video games such as Team Fortress 2, Portal series, L2D2, Factorio, League of Legend, Teamfight Tactics, all the souls series (especially Dark Souls 3), CSGO (Master Guardian I), Town of Salem, Dead by Daylight, and so on. Nowadays I don't play games that much, simply because I don't have any time.
I believe in FOSS supremacy, and I almost always try to use open source software. I use arch linux for my laptop and PC, and grapheneOS for my telephone. I love thinkpads too, my current laptop is a 10 year old X1 Carbon 5th gen.
